		<description>Customer email lists are all well and good informing of product updates / cross sell on similar products but it really does not help one to reach outside of an existing customer base.  How to incentivize existing customers to pass along your pitch to new potential customers?  How about discount coupon attached to the email?</description>

		<description>Excellent article.  Purchasing lists always seems to be the easy option, however I agree that getting people to agree to seeing your emails is a far better marketing ploy.</description>
